Biden and Zelenskyy
What did Joe Biden say at the UN? He spoke about the world coming together, and how we need each other to make the world a better place, and finally talked about Ukraine, said the US. will continue to help Ukraine defend itself. Only mentioned China once, a diplomatic speech to be sure; not particularly good, it had no bite to it; it was up to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to tell the truth about Ukraine. He spoke plainly about Putin as a War Criminal; “Evil can’t be trusted,” he said. He talked about Russia kidnapping Ukrainian children; talked about Russia as an aggressor who, if allowed to crave up Ukraine, will come after you next. So where is the urgency to stop this war? Biden wants to help Ukraine defend itself; he is cautious, worried about a nuclear confrontation with Russia, Zelenskyy is in the thick of it; the leader of a country fighting for its very survival; caution isn’t going to cut it. He needs offensive weapons to help Ukraine defeat Russia.
